The Encampment store is a non-profit corporation located in the Welcome Center of Valley Forge National Historical Park. The store donates 100% of its revenue back to the Park and its staff donates over 18,000 volunteer hours each year.

Approximately 400 women marched into the Valley Forge encampment on Dec. 19, 1777. Martha Washington came to camp in early February 1778 and remained in camp until June 8, 1778. She entertained visitors who came to see Gen. Washington, enjoyed camp theater and attended camp worship service.
