The Friends of Valley Forge Park offers a custom auto registration plate that is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The Specialty License Plate can be purchased only through the office of the Friends for a one time, total cost of $40.

How to Apply
Download and print the Specialty License Plate application form. Include a check for $40 (payable to The Friends of Valley Forge Park) and mail to The Friends of Valley Forge Park, 1400 North Outer Line Drive, King of Prussia, PA 19406. Sorry, but license plate applications cannot be processed online. If you need further assistance, please call 610-783-1777.

What is the cost to renew my specialty license plate in future years?
Renewing your specialty plate (after initial purchase/registration) will occur annually with the state of Pennsylvania at the current renewal fee set by the state ($36 as of 2014).
Is purchasing a $40 Specialty License Plate a fully tax deductible donation?
No. The tax deductible portion of your Specialty License Plate purchase is limited to $20.
How long will it take to receive my Specialty License Plate?
Incoming applications are collected monthly and submitted by the Friends to the state for processing. Based on the arrival of your application, it may take 4 to 6 weeks to process and receive your new plate. Your complimentary membership will be processed and mailed in approximately 2 weeks or less.
I’ve already renewed my PA plate registration this year. Does purchasing a new specialty plate mean that I have to re-enroll/repay my registration fee again?
No. Your plate registration remains under the same annual cycle with the state of PA. The state will simply replace your plate registration with a new number. All else remains the same.
